Setup Guide

Get OrderBuddy running on your server in under 5 minutes.

1

Invite OrderBuddy

Click the invite link on our homepage to add OrderBuddy to your Discord server. Select your server from the dropdown, review the required permissions, and click "Authorize". The bot will appear in your server's member list immediately.

2

Set a Staff Role

Navigate to the Dashboard, select your server, then go to Settings. Under "Staff Role", pick the Discord role that identifies your team members. Anyone with this role will be able to manage orders, update statuses, and access staff-only features.

3

Set Order Category

In Dashboard > Settings > Order Category, choose a Discord channel category where order channels will be created. When a new order is placed, OrderBuddy automatically creates a dedicated channel inside this category for all communication related to that order.

4

Enable Audit Logging

Go to Dashboard > Settings > Audit Log Channel and select a text channel for order activity logs. Every action — order creation, status changes, payments, and more — will be logged here with rich embeds so your team stays informed.

5

Create Your First Order

You're all set! Create your first order using the slash command in Discord or through the web dashboard. The bot will create a dedicated channel and notify your staff automatically.
